Tools & gear · neighbor to neighbor
About Neighbor’s Garage
Launching in Westhaven, Franklin, Tennessee. Tools and gear often sit unused between projects. Neighbor’s Garage is being built around a simple idea: neighbors can list what they already own and request to borrow from one another.
A local model, not a shipping store
Westhaven, Franklin, Tennessee is the planned neighborhood launch focus. The intended model is neighbor-to-neighbor sharing with local handoff: the tools and gear people already own, borrowed from neighbors instead of bought for one project. Neighbor’s Garage is a marketplace, not the manufacturer or owner of the listed tools. California sample locations are unrelated demo inventory, not evidence of available tools in Westhaven or those sample cities.
Secured prelaunch: what is available
You can explore the demo catalog, create an account, open your garage and save real listings. Requests and lender approval work only for eligible accounts and eligible listings. Demo listings are browsing-only and their ratings are illustrative.
Credit purchases, paid borrowing, pickup, return handoff, daily billing, damage claims and lender payouts are unavailable. Approval is not permission to collect an item. Do not exchange money or collect tools during this stage.
Clear information before a request
Listings show photos, descriptions, condition and a daily credit price. A limited public neighbor profile provides context without exposing private onboarding answers or balances. Neither a profile nor a sample rating proves identity verification or insurance.
