Westhaven is our planned neighborhood launch focus. The idea is simple: neighbors list tools and gear they already own, and other neighbors request to borrow them. We are in secured prelaunch, not operating paid borrowing or pickup.

A neighborhood model, not a storefront

Neighbor’s Garage is being built for neighbor-to-neighbor sharing with local handoff as the intended model, not shipping. The plan is simple: neighbors in Westhaven list gear they already own and other neighbors request to borrow it, starting with the people right around them.

A drill, ladder or pressure washer could be useful for a household project. These are examples of items neighbors might list, not claims that any are currently available. California demo listings and sample ratings are unrelated to the real launch area.

Prepare your own garage

Create and verify your account, then choose Open My Garage and complete the safety checklist.
Enter your actual city and region. If you are in Westhaven, use your real Franklin, Tennessee location; do not copy a demo location. Keep exact addresses and contact details out of public text and photos.
Photograph an item you actually own. Describe its condition, included accessories and limitations, choose a whole-number daily credit price, and save it from your profile.
Check the saved result before making changes. If a response is interrupted, keep the editor open and retry the same save rather than creating a duplicate.

Test a request only when a real listing allows it

Browse and check the Demo or Lender unavailable labels. Those listings cannot receive requests.
For an eligible listing, sign in, review the daily credit price and send a request. The lender can accept or decline; pending requests and accepted reservations can be cancelled from your profile.
Confirm the saved status in your profile. Pending and accepted requests do not charge credits. Approval is not permission to collect the item.

Stop before payment or pickup

Public credit purchases, paid borrowing, pickup, return handoff, daily billing, damage claims and lender payouts remain unavailable. Identity and guided photo-evidence protections are not ready for borrowing. Do not exchange money outside the app or collect an item during prelaunch.
