Listing tools and gear: a lender guide

Launching in Westhaven, Franklin, Tennessee. Create a useful, honest listing using your actual location before anyone requests it. You can prepare your garage now, but paid lending and pickup are not available.

1. Open your garage

  • Create and verify your account, then choose Open My Garage.
  • Enter your actual city and region and complete the safety checklist. Westhaven, Franklin, Tennessee is the planned launch focus, not a default location for every user. Do not copy California demo locations. The checklist answers are private and are not currently shown to borrowers.
  • Return to your profile to add a listing. Do not include your exact address or phone number in public listing text or photos.

2. Photograph the actual item

  • Take a clear full-item photo with enough light to see the tool or gear.
  • Add close views of condition, visible wear or damage, and the accessories included.
  • Show identifying model information if useful, but keep receipts, contact details, faces and address labels out of the frame.
  • Check that each image shows the item you are offering, not a stock substitute. Do not imply guided handoff-photo protection is already available.

3. Write a precise listing

  • Use a recognizable item name. Describe the actual item, condition and included accessories; state limitations rather than guessing specifications.
  • Choose a category, quantity and whole-number daily credit price. The price is not a live payment offer while purchases and billing are disabled.
  • Save the listing and wait for the saved result. Check the listing from your profile before making further changes.

4. If a save is interrupted

If saving is interrupted, keep the editor open and retry. Check My Garage for the saved listing before starting another one. If the app reports a rejected save, follow its error message.

5. Edit, pause and manage requests

Use your profile to edit or pause owned listings and review requests. Pausing reduces exposure; it does not erase participant history. Moderation or account restrictions may prevent editing or activation. An accepted request still cannot proceed to pickup, payments or payout during prelaunch.
